Education: JD, Golden Gate University, 1989 BA, cum laude, Claremont McKenna College, 1986 Experience: Carolyn J. Macias is an associate at Ryan, Rapp & Underwood where she practices primarily in the area of criminal defense. She has had significant felony jury trial experience as an Assistant District Attorney in Kern County, California, as a Deputy County Attorney in Maricopa County and as an assistant City Prosecutor in the city of Peoria. While with the Maricopa County Attorney's Office, Ms. Macias managed new prosecutors and trained approximately 80 attorneys over 2 years. Prior to heading the training department, Ms Macias managed a full felony caseload with crimes ranging from aggravated assault, and kidnapping to attempted murder. She is a member of the State Bar of Arizona and the State Bar of California. |
